Blinds are 30BB effective and Landon Tice opens the hijack. I defend the big blind with J♠8♦, flop middle pair on T-8-4, and the hand turns into a classic bluff-catch spot.

Landon fires flop, then barrels 30K into 52K on the turn when a flush draw appears — a sizing that puts pressure on all my one-pair hands. Versus his bigger sizes I could consider folding… but getting a good price with middle pair, I continue.

The river improves me to two pair, and Landon rips it for 90K (85% pot).
