Wednesday Evening Bible Study Daniel 9 12-10-2025

Today we are in Daniel chapter 9; a chapter with one of the greatest prophetical passages in the Bible and also one of the most sincere prayers in the Bible. Daniel has understood from reading Jeremiah's prophecy that the Babylonian captivity would last for 70 years, and that is about up, so he offers a beautiful prayer for his nation and people and includes himself along with the sinful Israelites.
In the second portion of the chapter, we find the 70-Weeks of Years prophecy that is still relevant to us in our day and even beyond our current time.
At the end of the chapter, we discuss how one's interpretation of the prophecy will affect one's overall interpretation of end-time prophesies.
