So now the GCW fans are losing their minds because Leon Slater had to pull out of a few events — and of course, they’re blaming WWE. Totally false. Completely ridiculous. These people don’t read, they don’t think, they just point fingers.

Brett Lauderdale — owner of GCW, very honest guy — even explained it CLEARLY. He said, and I quote:
“When you book a contracted talent, you do it with the understanding they can be pulled at any time for any reason (or no reason).”
That’s called BUSINESS, folks. That’s how contracts work. Every promoter knows it. Every wrestler knows it. It’s literally why they put “card subject to change” on every poster.

But fans want to blame WWE because it’s easy. It’s lazy. And it’s wrong. Leon Slater getting bigger opportunities means he becomes MORE valuable when he returns — Brett even said that! You should be thrilled for the kid. He’s a star on the rise.

This is what happens when people don’t understand how the industry works. They scream online instead of learning reality. Congratulations to Leon — huge move for him — and massive respect to Brett for actually telling the truth. Rare these days!
