Ilhan Omar married her brother to gain entry to the U.S., saying she should “go back and fix her own country” and criticizing her record in Congress.

Agents have conducted targeted arrests at homes, community locations, and educational programs as part of ongoing immigration-status reviews. Federal officials say the operations follow investigations into alleged fraud, including large-scale public-benefits and medical-assistance schemes involving some individuals in the state.
