I have told on other occasions how I ended up where some years ago, Mother Siluana and Father Constantin Sturzu, who was also the parish priest at the time, spent time.
I would like to focus now on the present.
This church is a spiritual house. Every parish, every church has a story, a past. But today, now it is about the present of the Church. The Church is a living body, it is a heart. And that every heart sometimes needs help to beat.
You are part of the Church as long as you do not see it just as a collection of walls. But as a collection of walls under whose roof families with many children live.
You know, by the way, to make you understand, the Talpalari Church has much more children per family than the average in Romania. By much. It's a rare thing these days in Romania, in a country that is slowly dying.
It's a community that stubbornly believes in God, family, values!
It's a place under the sun that needs help to regain its former glory.
The church needs to be renovated. I won't say the amount, I don't have the courage.
But now it has become clear that help is needed, and that's why I'm writing these lines.
And do you know how you can help at least in the first phase? It's simple.
A Christmas Fair is organized. Cool, right?
A group of craftsmen from the Talpalari Church are taken together and they all gather at this Fair.
Customers gather, who look enchanted at the objects made with hard work and love by the families from Talpalri, and then a donation is left.
It's simple. So please, come on this weekend, let's lend a hand in saving the Talpalari church and continue to offer those there a place of joy! For them and for their children!
