Square Enix just got a wakeup call from one of its largest investors, 3D Investment Partners, via a rather extensive breakdown of where they are messing up as a company. The activist investor group dropped a 100 page manifesto, highlight where the studio has been messing up in recent years.

There is no reason why Square Enix should be in trouble. They have the IP's and name recognition to succeed, but thanks to years of brand damage by spreading themselves too thin, they have hit hard times. Can they turn it around?
