The TikTok Trend Destroying Marriages - Hating Your Husband

So apparently it’s 2025 and we’re supposed to “normalize hating our husbands”, quietly quit our marriages, and then call midlife divorce “self-care.” That’s the message all over TikTok, Instagram, and even mainstream outlets like New York Magazine and The Telegraph—and I’m not buying it.

Today on The Isabel Brown Show, we’re diving into the viral trend of women proudly bashing their husbands online, being “filled with rage” when he’s sick, and posting content about wishing he would just… die. At the exact same time, legacy media is glamorizing “walkaway wives,” promoting “subconscious uncoupling,” and running pieces like “Why midlife divorce is good for you (as long as you’re a woman)” as if nuking your family is the pinnacle of female empowerment.

I also share honestly about my own temptations to slip into resentment, the spiritual danger of making ourselves the god of our own lives, and why I’m praying we fall back in love with being in love again—normalizing husbands as best friends instead of enemies.
