Winter Is Coming? More like Winter Is Crumbling, folks. What a disaster of a show. AEW somehow manages to take a night that should feel big, important, powerful — and turn it into one of the sloppiest, most embarrassing episodes they’ve aired in a long time. Truly amazing incompetence.

First, we get the Timeless Love Bombs vs. the Babes of Wrath to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions — and it’s boring. Totally lifeless. Zero heat, zero excitement. The Babes of Wrath win with a Dr. Bomb, but by then everybody already tuned out mentally. And then… Renee Paquette comes in with one of the WORST interviews I’ve ever heard. Absolute garbage. She somehow made a bad segment even worse. That takes talent — the wrong kind!

Then we get Jack Perry vs. Kazuchika Okada — finally something decent. Okada wins with the Rainmaker in a good match. But of course AEW can’t let anything breathe. Don Callis tries recruiting Jack into the Don Callis Family. Jack says no and tries to fight off an 11-on-1 attack like a superhero. And THEN Luchasaurus and the Young Bucks show up with weapons. Total chaos. No discipline, no logic, just noise.

Mark Briscoe and Daniel Garcia? Horrible segment. Bad talking, bad energy, bad everything. They start fighting and it still manages to be boring.

The Opps vs. Hangman & Swerve — two top stars stuck in a meh match. House Call for the win, but no spark, no atmosphere. AEW has no idea what to do with its talent.

Speedball Mike Bailey vs Kyle Fletcher — weird rollup win. Fine match, nothing special.

And then the main event: Samoa Joe vs Eddie Kingston. AEW World Championship on the line. Should feel HUGE… and it’s lame. Joe wins with the Coquina Clutch and the whole thing feels flat, quiet, empty. No drama, no emotion.

AEW Winter Is Coming was supposed to feel epic — instead, it was a cold, freezing disaster. They really need help.
