Scriptures For Today
2 Chr 36:22-23 AMP; 1 Sam 2:7-8 AMP

2Ch 36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia--in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah--the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,
--
2Ch 36:23 "Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up [to Jerusalem]!'"

7 The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He lifts up.
--
8 He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts up the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with nobles and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and He has set the world upon them.

The Word of God To Meditate On 2 Chr 36:22-23 AMP & 1 Sam 2:7-8 AMP “God Can Raise Help From The Most Unlikely Source”
🔥 INSIGHTS
1. God Controls the Hearts of Earthly Kings to Fulfill Heavenly Purposes - The verse shows that God stirred the spirit of Cyrus, a pagan king who did not know Him personally. Yet God moved him like a tool in His hand. Humanity sees kings as powerful, but God sees them as instruments. This reveals that God can move unbelievers, government officials, institutions, and systems to favor His people, even when those people lack political power. Sometimes God will skip believers and use an unbeliever to advance His purpose—because He rules the hearts of all men (Prov. 21:1).
--
2. God Remembers His Prophetic Word Even When Generations Forget - Jeremiah had prophesied that Israel would return after 70 years. Israel forgot; Kings forgot;
Nations shifted. But when the prophetic clock struck, God activated Cyrus. Prophecy has a timing system that cannot be erased by human delay, sin, or forgetfulness.
As long as God said it, it must happen. You may forget your promise, but God does not forget. Your destiny moves on a divine timetable, not human calendars.
--
3. Restoration Begins the Moment God “Stirs” Something Within or Around You- The exile ended the moment God stirred the spirit of Cyrus. Not when Israel prayed harder; Not when they became more righteous; Not when they organized politically. Restoration begins when God stirs hearts, opens doors, and aligns circumstances. Many breakthroughs happen not by effort but by stirring. God stirs: helpers, resources, favour, opportunities, thoughts, and connections. When God stirs something on the earth, nothing can stop the restoration He has ordained for your life.
