Our Frailties Qualify Us

We live in a performance oriented world. At every turn, we are encouraged to work hard and prove ourselves, learn more so we can accomplish more, take the initiative to show our value. But the Kingdom God has called us into is almost the opposite of that. In God’s Kingdom, it is our weaknesses and inabilities that actually open the door for service to the King.

This teaching makes a bold claim – Jess was the weakest man in the world. (You will have to listen to the teaching to get the scriptural proof of that claim.) Jesus emptied Himself of Himself as an example to us as to how we are to live our lives. Jesus said and did only what He first heard and saw from the Father, and He now lives is us so that we can do and say only what we first hear and see from the Holy Spirit.
