Invitation to Respond — Putting It All Together

Today we wrapped up our entire Invitation to Respond series by looking at what it really means to respond to the gospel with your whole life. Jesus calls us in Mark 1:15 to “repent and believe,” but Scripture shows us the full picture of what it means to respond to Him:

The Gospel Response:
• Hear the Gospel — “The time is fulfilled… repent and believe.” (Mark 1:15)
• Repent (turn away from sin) — “Repent… that times of refreshing may come.” (Acts 3:19)
• Believe — “With the heart one believes and is justified.” (Romans 10:10)
• Confess — “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord…’” (Romans 10:9)
• Follow Him Daily — “Deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23)
• Be Filled and Walk by the Spirit — “Walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh…” (Galatians 5:16–26)

When we put these Scriptures together — Mark 1:15, Romans 10:9–10, Acts 2:38–39, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Galatians 5:16–26 — we see that the gospel is not just a message to hear… it’s a life to live.

If today stirred your heart, my prayer is that you respond fully. Jesus is worth everything.

And starting tomorrow, we begin a brand-new series on discipleship — learning to grow in Christ through His Word, prayer, and daily life.

If this encouraged you, please like, follow, and share so others can hear the good news too.
