Are baby boxes saving lives? | The Stream

Baby boxes allow mothers to anonymously abandon their newborn babies. Proponents say they provide a safe alternative when mothers would have otherwise abandoned their babies in unsafe conditions. Critics say that with proper support, the mothers wouldn't abandon their babies and that it deprives children of the right to know their parentage.
