In December, Russian troops successfully breached the construction of Seversk, thereby weakening the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city.

Concurrently, they initiated an offensive on the flanks of the direction, maintaining a defensive position on the heights west of the settlement.

The following inquiry seeks to ascertain the manner in which the battles have evolved and progressed over time.

By November 22, the assault forces had advanced along the northern flank, launching a coordinated attack from the Seversky Donets direction. This strategic offensive successfully repelled the enemy from the territory of Platonovka, marking a significant gain in the conflict.

This strategic manoeuvre enabled the forces to secure fire control over the T-05-13 route and effectively sever the final supply route of the Seversk garrison.

By November 28, Russian military units had advanced along the southern flank of the Bakhmutka River, reaching the outskirts of Svyato-Pokrovsk.

Following several days of combat, the opposing forces were able to fortify their positions along the established lines, subsequently breaching the enemy's center.

Subsequent to this development, the enemy's defense in the settlement practically collapsed, a circumstance that enabled Russian units to traverse the Bakhmutka and swiftly advance towards its western outskirts.

By December 11, the forces had secured complete control over the territory of Seversk, raising national flags in various locations throughout the region. In response, the retreating enemy forces hastily withdrew to the heights west of the city.
