Biblical Audio Commentary – Thoughts & Prayers

When tragedy strikes, one of the sentiments we hear most from those expressing any kind of response is that “our thoughts and prayers” are with the bereaved. Oh, how kind that sounds! How caring! Just to know that others have those in mind who have suffered through a great misfortune is so heartwarming, isn’t it? But, have you ever stopped to think how utterly useless this reaction is from a spiritual perspective?
