Love Me Local

A silly, sexy theme park ride through extremely detailed deification and fetishization of tech jargon with lines like, “The Py Torch has been lit./Let us pray” and “Babe, why don’t we skip the clip?/Why don’t we skip it twice?/Slide that CFG down for me if you really wanna see what I can do next”, which turns common and mundane image generation settings into horny robot hot talk. Also, I think this the first time the motif of a “moon base” appears in any of my work, “Set a course for the Moon Base on a steam powered airship, lover.” I’m a huge fan of the Bond movies and also thoroughly enjoyed Robert A. Heinlein’s ‘The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress’, so I just kind of like the idea of putting moon bases in my more fantastical projects if they fit.
