Second Amendment Preservation Act, Property Taxes and more

Missouri is definitely an interesting state. We had SAPA in place for 2 years before it was overturned by the 8th circuit court because they were "offended" by some of the language in the original bill, not because it was unconstitutional. A new version of SAPA has been pre-filed by Senator Mike Moon (SB952) because Attorney General Pam Bondi used leverage to make sure SAPA would not be heard by the Supreme Court in 2026. This cannot stand, Missouri needs to get SAPA back. We'll also talk about our "adopt a legislator" program tonight. We'll also go through a few property tax legislative pieces tonight.
