MAKING HISTORY 😤 | Kane 498, Leonard 19–in–19 & Shutouts | 7 Minute Wings

There’s a LOT to unpack in this one… and somehow it all fits into 7 minutes 😅
But when nights like this happen across the organization, it’s absolutely worth it.
The Detroit Red Wings and Grand Rapids Griffins both posted shutout wins, making this one of the most impressive nights of the season from top to bottom.
In Detroit, John Gibson continues to steady the crease, winning his 4th straight start, with two shutouts during that stretch. Calm, confident, and locked in.
In Grand Rapids, Sebastian Cossa delivered another shutout, further cementing what’s becoming a career-defining season. He looks every bit like a future NHL starter.
Offensively, John Leonard continues to do the unthinkable — scoring his 19th goal in 19 games. All eyes are now on whether he can hit 20 goals in 20 games.
Meanwhile, Patrick Kane added goal number 498, inching closer to the historic 500-goal milestone, and showing he’s far from done making history.
Add in Alex DeBrincat’s red-hot run (8 points in his last 5 games) and another standout performance from rookie Axel Sandin Pellikka, whose assist looked like an All-Star highlight, and this episode is packed from start to finish.
It’s nights like these that remind you just how special this organization can be.
