Mulch your trees!

Have you mulched your trees yet this spring? 🌳✨ I just finished up around my Chinese chestnut and pecan trees, and they’re looking cozy! 🥜🌰

A solid 2 to 3 inches of organic mulch all the way out to the drip line can make a big difference. It helps protect the roots from heat stress ☀️, conserves moisture 💧, and cuts down on how often you need to water. I try to do this every year before things really heat up.

Just make sure the mulch isn’t sitting right up against the trunk. 🚫🌲
