LIVING WATER FOR DRAINED SOULS

John 4:14 New King James Version
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
I thought very deeply about these verses of scripture today, especially after the things that have taken place over the last 48 hours or less, and I firmly believe that we as a people are being spiritually drained. We are living as drained souls being told lies by the enemy, deceived into thinking that we can find anything or anyone other than Jesus to satisfy the emptiness in our souls, and many people are falling for that deception! As I read this morning scripture and saw just how Jesus was crying out to people to come to Him so that they could have the living water that doesn't run out, and to know that they didn't or wouldn't understand kind of broke my heart a little bit. I know a lot of us out there feel like the used up empty juice box that Eliza Morgan this morning's devotional writer was talking about today, we feel drained either in our jobs, families, being a caregiver, or with all the day-to-day things, and that's when we need to go to the One who is this only source of living water, that will never run dry.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things on this issue, through this blog I'd like to share with you tonight, and I pray that you carefully listen to what I have to say. I pray especially that you realize that you can have that drain, that siphoning, that emptiness fixed through Jesus Christ and I pray that you listen to what I have to say. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you not only think about them, but act on them.

How can you take a break from your daily tasks to experience God’s filling Spirit within you?

I want to reach out tonight to all those who are feeling like empty juice boxes. To the ones who are feeling drained, used up, and completely empty in life, to know that you are not walking through this life alone. That you have somebody that walks alongside you, that is ready and willing to offer you living water that will satisfy and never run out. I pray that if you are feeling drained emotionally, physically, and spiritually, that you turn to the Lord and ask Him to fill your soul with the much-needed water of life that He offers, and that you continually draw from the living springs that only God provides.
