HOW THE WEST IGNORED THE LARGEST MASS MURDER EVENT IN THE 21ST CENTURY

The massacres that followed the fall of Al-Fashir to the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) may constitute the largest single mass murder event in the 21st century, with conservative estimates suggesting up to 150,000 people are missing or killed.

But the scandal is not the atrocity alone. It is that the signs of genocide were deliberately ignored.

For example, whistleblowers revealed how the word “g*nocide” was removed UK Foreign Office risk assessments in 2023, possibly to protect the RSF's Emirati sponsor.
This happened despite the UK leading Sudan activities at the UN.

Months later, the RSF perpetrated a ruthless ethnic cleansing campaign targeting non-Arabs in western Darfur. As most of the region fell to the fascist militia, Al-Fashir became a safe haven for Darfur’s non-Arab population. This is why experts warned that, should the city fall to the RSF, the militia would complete their g*nocidal project.

Yet the same Western powers who condemn the war in Sudan failed to take preventative measures: they didn't designate the RSF as a t*rroist organisation or call out the UAE for its sponsorship.

Why?

Because the same Dirhams used to fund the RSF's massacres also buys the silence of the UAE’s Western allies.

But the cost of this silence is counted in the hundreds of thousands of lives lost.
