We desire to hear Him say one day, "Well done good and faithful servant" - so lets be the Prepared L.I.F.E. Christian and Church that He will be glorified.

Fasting without prayer to the Lord is just another good health practice. when we combine seeking God's will for our lives with Fasting there sometimes can be great results of God's blessings!

What do we do? as Christians we have the God of hope looking after us. he brings us through the valley's of darkness to the other side. The steady hope we have is HIM and His Word - the scriptures which brings us strong comfort when our hopes are dashed. But, to hope again is a decision we must make, and we must make that decision by faith.

The Sower is anyone who shares the Word of God; the Seed is the Word of God; the Soil is the human heart. There are 3 components: Sower, Seeds, and Soils. It is an illustration of how people react to the Word of God. It is a comparison between 4 kinds of hearts: Hard heart, shallow heart, compromised heart, and a good heart. Which one are you? Even as you listen you can move from a hard heart to a good heart by how committed you will be to the Word of God.

Description: The passage today is quite stunning. It is prophetic! Just as the Jewish people were to inspect their lambs before they were offered in the Ancient Jewish Passover, so the Passover Lamb of God was also to be inspected for blemishes! The whole Mosaic sacrificial system was prophetic, it foretold of the coming redemption work of God's Lamb - Jesus our Lord. What is amazing about this is that what made the person accepted was not his own perfection, but the perfection of the sacrifice they brought. If the lamb was perfect, they would be accepted! God inspects the Lamb for defects, not you! If the Lamb is perfect, YOU are accepted! Praise God! This will change your life forever!

We often try to find identity in our performance or in our strong sense of person-hood. Those may be part of it, but the greatest stability and emotional and mental security lays in our spiritual identity IN CHRIST!
