The following inquiry is posited: What manner of sequence of events transpired during the battles?

By November 23, the assault aircraft had successfully expelled the enemy from Sukhoy Yar and the outskirts of Balagan. Shortly thereafter, the territory was cleared of the "Central" mine.

By the beginning of December, the units of the GEC "Centr" had occupied the entire southern part of Mirnograd and the surrounding forest belts.

By December 4, the Russian military had successfully encircled the city, taking position in the rural areas between Pokrovsk and Rodinsky.
