Elly Robot Breaks the Elevator Barrier for Indoor Autonomy

California startup 3E8 Robotics has unveiled Elly, an autonomous delivery robot designed to operate elevators by physically detecting and pressing buttons. The breakthrough removes one of the biggest bottlenecks in indoor robotics, enabling true multi-floor autonomy without retrofits, APIs, or building upgrades.
