No Fear of Bad News

Life brings reports we did not expect. A doctor’s diagnosis. A financial setback. A job loss. A sudden change. But Scripture tells us something life changing:

“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”
Psalm 112:7

Psalm 112 gives us the reason behind fearless faith.
Verses 5 and 6 show us the foundation:

Living generously

Walking uprightly

Conducting life with integrity

Trusting God daily

When we live God’s way, our hearts become steady. We are not shaken by reports, circumstances, or fear because our confidence is not in the situation. It is in the Lord.

Faith is not pretending bad news does not exist.
Faith is trusting God in the middle of it.
