Synopsis:
Joseph the Prophet recounts the life of Prophet Joseph (Yusuf), as understood in Islamic tradition, following his extraordinary journey from childhood hardship to spiritual and political greatness.

The story begins with Joseph’s forced separation from his family and his transport to Egypt, where he grows up under the care of the nobleman Potiphar and his wife, Zuleikha. As Joseph matures, his exceptional beauty and character draw Zuleikha’s passionate love—leading to trials, accusations, and ultimately his unjust imprisonment.

In prison, Joseph’s wisdom, moral integrity, and God-given ability to interpret dreams inspire and reform the inmates around him. His gift eventually brings him to the attention of the Pharaoh, marking the turning point of his life. Freed and elevated to a position of high authority, Joseph becomes one of Egypt’s most trusted advisors.

Years later, during a time of famine, Joseph’s brothers arrive in Egypt seeking help—unaware that the powerful advisor they meet is their own long-lost brother. Joseph tests their sincerity and repentance, guiding them toward reconciliation, forgiveness, and spiritual healing. The story culminates in a moving reunion with his family after more than twenty years of separation.
