The Light of Divine Intellect (Christianity pt.10): The Metaphysics of Religion (Platonic Idealism)

In this video, I present my metaphysical worldview, idealism through the lens of Christianity. I argue that idealism offers the most coherent explanation of reality because it is grounded in the only thing we can truly know directly: the mind, or soul. Material reality is not what reality is, but how it appears. We often mistake appearance for essence. We are not separate from reality, we are reality. Our bodies are material, but they are only one aspect of who we are. Behind appearance lies the living source, and that same source is what reality itself is made of. The nature of the human being and the nature of reality are one and the same. Reality is not something to merely analyze from the outside. It is something we live. Life is what makes knowledge possible, and true knowledge is not abstract information, it is lived truth.
