Welcome back to Day 9 of Da Basic Btch and the Bearded Biker’s 2025 Flaviar Whiskey Advent Calendar Adventure. Today, we take a trip back to Louisville, Kentucky to the Mary Dowling Whiskey Company, a venture by Kaveh Zamanian, the founder of Rabbit Hole Distillery, and Pernod Ricard. The Mary Dowling Tequila Barrel Finished Bourbon was created to honor Mary Dowling, the Mother of Bourbon. With her ties to Mexico during Prohibition, finishing a bourbon in ex-Reposado tequila barrels makes perfect sense. The question remains, will this offering earn a Santa, or a Grinch?
