Much Wiser Than That Now - Full Album

The Mikols/Goble Project was created when Karl Goble of North Carolina found the music of Philip Mikols from Michigan online. Karl sent Philip a DM suggesting a collaboration. After listening to Karl’s music, especially the song “Much Wiser Than That Now”, Philip agreed and they started working right away.

Karl Goble is a singer/songwriter who writes in a folk, country, classic rock, and sometimes gospel style. His songs have deep, profound lyrics that center on his faith in God. The songs appear straightforward on the surface, but can be deceptively simple. Karl has released his music under the banner of Cosmic Silk Project.

Philip Mikols is a classically trained musician, primarily on keyboards, and a composer. Philip has released many instrumentals ranging from serious classical music to progressive rock and metal. His music can be found under the banner of Philip Mikols Music.

While it may seem that these disparate musical styles would never work together, Philip and Karl were able to blend their styles into something that is unique. Crafting catchy, melodic songs with some complex arrangements and instrumental sections.

The one thing that both men share is a deep and enduring faith in God.
