Eagles Fly was captured after our last run in with the army. They are gonna hang him for treason. Broken promises and broken treaties with the ideas for a hundred years and yet the Indians are the ones who hang or are murdered. Someone's very sick joke.
I talked with Rains Fall. He doesn't know what to do, but as a father he feels he must do something. I told him don't worry. He can stay here. I will go take care of it. Well, Charles and I will. Though I have no clue what we are going to do against an army and probably holed up in Fort Wallace. Maybe we can get lucky again like we did when we broke John out of that island prison. Maybe we can sneak in and sneak out, but hopefully with a lot less commotion.
