You couldn't just go from the altar to the Holy Place. There was a crucial stop in between. ⛲

In the Tabernacle, after the sacrifice at the brazen altar, the priests had to wash at the laver. This basin, made from the mirrors of the women, represented cleansing and reflection. It teaches us that approaching a holy God requires more than just sacrifice; it requires personal purification.

We often want to jump straight into deep spiritual experiences. But God’s pattern is step-by-step: acceptance of sacrifice, followed by daily cleansing, then deeper ministry in His presence. Are you trying to skip a step?
