Chris Condon Explains Keeping Ultimate Wolverine Close to Classic Logan

In this video, I react to a Bounding Into Comics article and Chris Condon's CBR interview about his approach to writing Ultimate Wolverine. Despite full creative freedom in the Ultimate Universe, Condon chose to keep Logan very similar to the Earth-616 version — including his government manipulation history, rivalry with Sabretooth, connections to Kitty Pryde and Jean Grey, and Muramasa blade — because he wanted to write the ultimate Wolverine story as a lifelong fan while preserving the character's core across universes. I agree with this respectful take that avoids unnecessary twists, and praise the strong artwork by Alessandro Cappuccio.
