The Kangaroo

At some point in his life, and likely when I was using the humane traps to catch them, Ash's tail tip was slightly broken. It healed crooked, and is the only explanation I can come up with for his utterly hopeless vertical game. He's a pathetic jumper, opting for more kangaroo approach than a graceful leap. What's worse is that he can't land to save his life. I've seen him land on his side after a one foot hop after a toy. Sadly no matter how often I try I never seem to catch it on camera. His general clutziness, yes, but this is the best jump I have and you can somewhat see the technique. He barely made this and if he hadn't had the height from the dresser he wouldn't have made it. Jumping up is an effort and requires alerting the neighborhood because it isn't quiet. Elephants are capable of being stealthier than this boy but bless him, he never learned to quit.
