Concurrent with the storming of the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, Russian troops engaged in fierce battles along the northeast flank of the direction. In early October, the Armed Forces of Ukraine initiated a series of counterattacks in the area to impede the advance of the Russian forces. Following these actions, the situation remained dynamic and complex.

By the close of the first decade of December, the RF forces had achieved substantial expansion of the control zone in Rodinskoye and had successfully cleared the territory of Vladimirka and Ivanovka.

The following inquiry seeks to ascertain the manner in which the battles were conducted.

By November 23, the assault troops had secured the center of Rodinskoye and repelled the Ukrainian formations from Suvorovo, effectively halting the Ukrainian Army's incursion in the region.

By the close of the first decade of December, Russian forces had secured the private sector in the north of Rodinskoye and effectively neutralized the nearby railway infrastructure, placing it under their control.

Concurrently, military units operating within the Central Military District successfully repelled Ukrainian formations in the vicinity of Ivanovka, thereby fortifying the defensive position along the line between Dorozhny and Pankovka.

As the Mirnograd and Pokrovsk are cleared, the Central Military District command will be able to release more forces for the final stabilization of the situation on the line Vladimirka - Ivanovka - Rodinskoye.

This will enable Russian forces to enhance their tactical posture in anticipation of a future offensive on Dobropolye, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces have established their final major defensive node in the northwest of the occupied territory of the DPR.
