Proverbs 8:13 - The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 16:5 - Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not go unpunished.

James 4:6 - But He gives more grace. Wherefore He said, GOD resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.

Proverbs 16:18 & 19 - Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a great fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoils with the proud.
