Bear Creek Arsenal 202 — Bolt Speed Issue When Suppressed | Months in the Making

You can tell this one took a while — the beard growth says it all. This video is the result of months of testing as I hunt for a reliable recoil system or a way to tame the bolt speed when the BCA 202 is suppressed. Out of the box the 202 runs great unsuppressed, but add back‑pressure and the bolt starts racing — sometimes outrunning the magazine. That ends up damaging the casing on the next round trying to load.
In this episode you’ll see:

Me working through the trying to figure out exactly what the issue is, mag, ammo, gun.
Footage showing the bolt outrunning the magazine when suppressed
Comparison: unsuppressed vs. suppressed performance
What I’ve tried so far and why it hasn’t fixed it yet

Key takeaways:
The BCA 202 performs flawlessly unsuppressed, but most suppressors introduce back‑pressure that accelerates the bolt cycle with all brand ammo.
I’ll be in contact with BCA to hopefully find a permanent fix. I'm hoping to get this gun reliable for future videos.

Suppressor/host combinations you’ve successfully run on the 202 (model + ammo)
If you’ve solved bolt‑timing issues on similar platforms, what approach worked for you (and whether you used a gunsmith)
Notes & safety:

I’m sharing testing and observations only — I won’t be performing or endorsing risky modifications on camera. If you’re troubleshooting similar issues, consult the manufacturer or a qualified gunsmith.
