The Candace Erika Saga vs TRUTH

I am not attacking Candace Owens' character, but cautioning against prideful arrogance that does not recognize likely vulnerabilities. Lao Tsu created a poetic picture of the true warrior against evil, saying, "When going one way means life and going the other means death, one third will be comrades of life and one third will be comrades of death, and there are those who value life and as a result move into the realm of death, and these number one third. Why is this so? Because they understand and appreciate LIFE. I have heard it said that one who excels in safeguarding his own life does not meet with a rhinoceros or a tiger when travelling on land, nor is he touched by weapons when charging into an army. There is nowhere for the tiger to place its claws; there is nowhere for the weapon to lodge its blade. Why is this so? Because for him, there is no realm of death." I know that Candace Owens has faced this reality on a deep level, feeling the temptation to "seek life" that would be less meaningful, for the sake of safety. Instead she charged into the army of demonic liars, dismissing the possibility of her own death for the sake of LIFE that is real. So in that respect, she is a hero, and I genuinely appreciate her. But even the warrior is vulnerable to pride, vanity, and the arrogance that accompanies it. The pride of ego is the death of the false warrior; we cannot claim innate invulnerability without becoming vulnerable. I'm speaking of loss of the soul, not loss of the body.
