WAKEFIELDED

Yeah…
They mad again.
That’s how I know I’m dialed in.

I didn’t flip out, I leaned in,
Read one thing they said don’t mention.
Asked one question, real polite,
Now I’m labeled a whole new tension.
They like, “Trust the science,” cool,
Why you nervous when I read it too?
If it’s solid, then relax my guy,
Why my curiosity bothering you?
I didn’t shout, I didn’t riot,
Didn’t storm no gate or street,
Just noticed holes in the story
Now they tripping over me.
If free speech works the way they claim,
Then mine shouldn’t change the vibe,
But soon as I spoke comfortably,
Yeah… somebody lied.

I got Wakefielded, okay, bet.
That’s what happens when you don’t forget.
If they mad, stressed, losing breath,
I must’ve said something correct.
I got Wakefielded, still cool.
Didn’t panic, didn’t play the fool.
If they swinging hard, that’s a rule:
They only hit what they can’t control.

Docs get fired for asking why,
Moms get flagged for common sense,
Funny how concern for health
Turns into “noncompliance.”
They say, “You’re dangerous,” I say, “Relax,”
I just read what you wrote in black.
If your message strong, stand on it,
Why you rushing to hit delete so fast?
Shadow this, de-rank that,
Debank truth, then call it care,
If reality’s on your side,
Why you need to rig the air?
I’m not loud, I’m persistent,
That’s the part that wrecks your plans,
I don’t need a million followers
When the right ones understand.

[VERSE 3 – relaxed but sharp]

They don’t cancel nobodies,
They cancel people with reach.
If you echo what they hand you,
You can say it every week.
But one step out the script,
Now you “misinformed,”
Funny how that word appears
When narratives deform.
I watched good people lose it all
For choosing conscience first,
And somehow that convinced me
I should probably speak worse.
If truth needs permission,
It’s already dead.
I’d rather get Wakefielded
Than safe inside my head.

[BRIDGE – spoken, amused]

They don’t hate confusion.
They hate clarity.
They don’t fear noise.
They fear calm confidence.

So yeah, I wear it like a badge now,
Not bitter, not stressed.
If they tried to ruin my name,
I must’ve passed the test.
History don’t love the quiet ones
Who waited to be approved.
It remembers who got dragged first
For saying something true.
I’m not angry, I’m alert,
There’s a difference, take a note.
Every time they overreact,
They show me where to poke.

Wakefielded, say it slow.
Wakefielded, let ‘em know.
If they mad and losing control,
That’s how you know you struck the gold.
Wakefielded, no disguise.
Wakefielded, open eyes.
They don’t come for jokes or lies,
They come when truth don’t compromise.

If they came for you…
Relax.
You’re doing something right.
