The thought of the week 12/14/25

We must understand and never forget the entire reason for this season. It is not only that a baby was born and laid in an animal’s feeding trough. It is that this Baby grew into a Man who lived a perfect, sinless, and holy life. And then He willingly gave that life up for you, personally. Jesus chose the cross. He allowed Himself to bear the curse, to experience separation, to carry the weight of eternal judgment so that you would not have to. He took the curse upon Himself so that the curse of eternal damnation could be broken off of your life by a holy and righteous God. The reason for the season begins at the manger, but it ends at the cross. Don’t just celebrate the birth remember the sacrifice. Think on this deeply this week.
