A Clash of Civilizations: Will the West Survive Islam?

What happened at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia was not random violence. It was targeted Islamic terrorism. Jewish men, women, and children were murdered at a public Hanukkah celebration simply because they were Jews. One of the victims was the brother of a local rabbi, Rabbi Eli Schlanger. At least fifteen people were killed, and children were among those targeted.

Even more disturbing, Australian authorities later admitted the attackers were already known to them. The perpetrators, a father and son with documented ties to an ISIS terror cell operating out of Sydney, had ISIS flags in their vehicle. Yet no decisive action was taken before mass murder occurred. Why? Political paralysis driven by woke ideology.

This presentation confronts a hard truth the West refuses to face. Terrorism is not caused by misunderstanding Islam. It is caused by belief. Islamic jihad is rooted in doctrine, not confusion. The Quran, the Hadith, and groups like Hamas openly call for violence, domination, and the subjugation of Jews and Christians. These attackers were not confused. They were following an instruction manual.

This does not mean all Muslims are violent. Many are not. In fact, the man who bravely stopped the attackers was a Muslim named Ahmed Al Ahmed, and his courage should be honored. But denying what Islamic ideology itself teaches is reckless and dangerous.

Between 1979 and April 2024, nearly 67,000 Islamist terror attacks worldwide have killed close to 250,000 people. These are not isolated incidents. They are the fruit of an ideology.

The West is now at a civilizational crossroads. Islamic ideology is not compatible with Western civilization. One system offers domination and bloodshed. The other offers liberty, law, and human dignity.

This is not about race. It is about truth versus denial. The question is no longer whether the West is under threat. The question is whether the West has the courage to defend itself.
