A grieving robotics expert pours his pain into building Robin, a lifelike robotic doll meant to replace the son he lost, but the creation quickly takes on a disturbing life of its own. As strange and violent events unfold in a secluded manor, his visiting family realizes Robin will do anything to keep his creator all to himself. Trapped between a broken man and a possessive machine, they must find a way to escape before the line between human and artificial obsession is shattered forever.
