DvmbCvnt98 (Chester) paints itself into a corner (objective morality)

Here’s where I queried Chester on his Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde positions on morality. I’m still not sure if he understands the difference between objective & subjective morality. https://rumble.com/v72kcpe-sabrina-carpenter-attacks-trump-for-using-her-song.html#comment-599330152 https://rumble.com/v72k8do-i-did-a-deep-dive-into-the-air-traffic-control-subreddit-and-what-i-found-i.html#comment-599276162 https://rumble.com/v72k8do-i-did-a-deep-dive-into-the-air-traffic-control-subreddit-and-what-i-found-i.html#comment-599276162 https://rumble.com/v72lif4-breaking-liberal-journalist-exposed-in-satanic-child-abuse-ring-ep.-1868.html#comment-599331890 https://rumble.com/v72uv7u-former-diddy-escort-reflects-on-turning-to-christianity-michael-and-shawn-d.html#comment-599750178 https://rumble.com/v72uqwk-the-real-reason-hollywood-keeps-turning-villains-into-heroes-ep.-1705.html#comment-599750794 https://rumble.com/v7358wu-the-us-capitol-just-replaced-robert-e.-lee.html#comment-600227140

Screenshots of these discussions (in case Chester decides to delete them) can be found here https://archive.ph/VfQqD https://archive.ph/XDTwn https://archive.ph/LqGsp https://archive.ph/LJpwL https://archive.ph/dKM1R https://archive.ph/OqbGR

I promise this will be the second & final response to this troll. I had to do this one more time because I keep seeing dumbass98 (hereafter “Chester”) whine about “Fascism” (which he cannot define, I will have a video on that soon) & how “Evil” Donald Trump & Republicans are.

I keep asking the uneducated idiot if this morality is subjective (the choice to rape or not to rape is akin to choosing chocolate over vanilla) or objective (“Rape” is an immoral act, whether man or the society condemns it or not) or if it’s objective. I have asked Chester dozens of times, never received a direct answer.

The naturalist/Atheist might say, “We made rape illegal because we are pragmatic, because it’s the best thing to do for society.” Why is that “the best” decision? Sure, rape or indiscriminate murder (such as shooting starving children instead of feeding them or ignoring it) might be illegal, but is it really immoral?

If so, from where does this morality come from? When the Big Bang occurred (for more discussion on something I penned many years ago, see https://web.archive.org/web/20230806182600/https://professor_enigma.webs.com/atheismexamined.htm the section on “Objective Moral Values”) there were nothing but particles, electrons, neutrons, etc. & vast fields of space.

Where does Chester’s moral compass come from? Was he programmed by society or his single mother? That dog won’t hunt because we see people all the time reject the childhood they were raised in, we see all these people protesting this & that (the debate over Roe v. Wade is a particularly good example of division in society. A number of political debates have arisen over the last century & there are heated opinions), we see massive amounts of division politically & religiously. So, I don’t accept that.

Even if that were true, is rape or wanton & gratuitous killing of another human being only wrong because your parents told you (and they may be right) it was wrong or is there an objective moral standard out there “in the ether” that dictates murder (defining murder as ending the life of another human being because “you just can” – just to make that clear for this exercise) is immoral, period – regardless of the opinion of those in charge of the government & those that vote those people into office.

Chester told another user (and I apologize, I was not able to find that comment, but she/he did say it), “Humans are just animals, get over it.” Fair enough! Is a crocodile a Fascist because it will try (and often succeed) to tear the limbs off a dehydrated Impala (that is no threat to them) merely because it wandered too close to the pond & just wanted a drink? Is that Crocodile “evil” for doing that?

A lion has no qualms about killing a juvenile water buffalo that accidentally wandered too far from the herd. Often, they don’t even pick on the Alpha, they take out the sick & weak. Does that make them cowardly too?

Chester has NEVER even tried to answer that.

Chester whined about Matt Walsh trying to convince others that bad people are good. That’s a values judgement, what’s the origin of this “bad” or “good”? Is it subjective or objective? If it’s the former, then “bad people” are like choosing chocolate over vanilla. Chocolate is “bad” & vanilla is “good.”

In one instance, Chester took a stab at the question I had asked him about morality & just went on the typical listless rant about “how do you believe what you’re saying”, you didn’t finish middle school, etc. The usual filler to make up for the fact that he has no answer.

What is Chester’s yard stick for concluding that someone is “an evil, demented piece of dung”? No answer!

He complained about “racism” constantly, but is that objective or subjective? Are Crocodiles racist because they’ll kill another animal just because they’re hungry & it’s within the reach of its jaws?

I’ve seen some atheists try to rationalize homosexuality because some animals are homosexual. Well, some chimpanzee societies engage in wanton & gratuitous murder, is that okay now? The process to determine the Alpha requires some bloodshed. So, is that behavior kosher now?

Again, if an adult chimpanzee forced a juvenile chimp to have sexual intercourse, has that adult chimp done anything evil? Is it a pedophile?

Another one of Chester’s deviations was to throw a hissy fit because my query “wasn’t relevant.” He’s pulled this card several times, if he/she doesn’t think it’s on topic, he can escape because “it’s off topic.”

Was it off topic when he said “humans are just animals, get over it” & I asked him about it? We’re not dealing with someone who is an intellect. This is why he has a throwaway account, which he’s probably had a lot of. One of the funniest observations is he is on here constantly (and he’s posting from a smartphone at almost all hours of the day. If he does have a job, he spends a lot of time on his phone “at work”) trying to troll his political opponents but goes into an autistic rage over my questions.

He seems quite angry at the pushback, but all he has to do is close his account & the rage would leave. If Chester believes that there are “bad people” out there, why did he say, “humans are just animals, get over it?” He’s not very bright, that’s why & he didn’t realize until now that he painted himself into a corner.

Chester isn’t saying “racism is immoral” (Or whatever is causing his autism to flare up), he’s saying “I hate racism.” Chester isn’t saying, “murder is immoral,” He’s saying, “I hate murder.”

If morality evolved & we change the rules like we change the rules to hockey, then whatever is “immoral” today might be “amoral” or even “moral” tomorrow. Man declaring murder or rape “immoral” is just as arbitrary as man evolving five toes on each foot instead of six.

I don’t think Chester reads at a high level, nor does he understand the implications of his contradictory positions on morality. If he did a bit more reading, maybe he wouldn’t take contradictory positions on this & need others to point that out to him. Perhaps this is why he has a throwaway account, he’ll close it & start over in a few months.

So Chester, put up a video informing us as to whether there is an objective morality out there or not & why or why not?

PS After challenging Chester on this about a dozen times, he FINALLY acknowledged (and apparently did not know this) that the South & Appalachia were uber-Democrat https://archive.ph/ZRqqK from FDR through the Clinton Administration. It was during the latter that some of those Southern legislatures began to fall into GOP hands & by 2011, the South was dominated by Republicans. Appalachia was poor when it was voting for Democrats decades ago. He apparently had no clue about this. He likely figured that since the GOP dominates the South now, it must’ve always been that way. Is he this stupid? I have news for Chester, the South has always had high murder rates relative to the national average https://rumble.com/v5lq20q-but-the-republican-south-has-high-murder-rates-democratcrimewave.html & it’s always been black folks who are disproportionately the victims & perpetrators of those murders. https://rumble.com/v2jcakg-sam-seder-is-brick-dumb-larry-elder-played-my-blm-call.html https://rumble.com/v6hl1z1-representative-jasmine-crockett-dumber-than-sam-seder.html He used his own ignorance as an argument again & I even got a concession out of him on it.

Here's another video you might want to check out where I debated another naturalist on whether morality is subjective or not https://rumble.com/vdrrvz-silly-fundy-atheist.html
