Australia PM's Proposal After Terrorist Attack Couldn't Be More Predictable (US Dems Doing The Same)

Posted • December 18, 2025: There were multiple antisemitic attacks in Australia and the United States this weekend, and predictably enough the Left's "solutions" to make sure this doesn't happen again are counterproductive and don't even address the real issue. —— There was more than one terror attack today. There were three. A Jewish home in California. A Jewish classroom at Brown. A Jewish celebration at Bondi. It’s beginning to look a lot like a globalized intifada. https://x.com/Eve_Barlow/status/2000299738462306734 —— Shortly after the antisemitic terrorist attack in Australia that killed more than a dozen and injured many more, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that months earlier he sent Australia's PM a warning: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a government meeting in Dimona:

“On August 17, about 4 months ago, I sent Prime Minister Albanese of Australia a letter in which I gave him warning that the Australian government's policy was promoting and encouraging antisemitism in Australia https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/2000217967628316679/vid/avc1/1280x720/uurDGqdNBBAyaVIT.mp4 —— Yeah, Australia's leadership didn't take that seriously. After the attack, Albanese said that he was "prepared to take whatever action is necessary": https://abcnews.go.com/International/australia-pm-propose-tougher-gun-laws-after-bondi/story?id=128407378 —— I'd bet my house that there's one necessary action that Australia's political leaders will not take. Instead what will happen couldn't be more predictable: Good News, Australia: Your government is now going to make your gun laws even more strict. Allahu Akbar.

First up on the agenda is to make this about everybody and not focus on the actual problem: Following a terrorist attack targeting jews in Sydney by islamic terrorists, the Prime Minister of Australia warns about “right-wing extremism.” https://rumble.com/v731xmq-in-wake-of-islamic-terror-attack-australian-pm-albanese-warns-of-rising-thr.html —— Does that approach sound familiar? Joe Biden used to do that all the time while asking us not to believe our lying eyes and ears. Lefties often hail Australia as a gun control utopia where shootings almost never happen. After the Bondi Beach attack, the PM and other politicians have concluded that they haven't been gun controlling hard enough: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese proposed tougher national gun laws after a mass shooting on Sydney's Bondi Beach left at least 15 people dead. https://apnews.com/article/australia-shooting-bondi-beach-sydney-3be76a51c820d547ee4697bd25c1bafd

🚨 Chris Minns, the Premier of New South Wales, is calling for stronger gun-control measures in the wake of the deadly attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, which left 15 victims dead. “It means introducing a bill to parliament to — I mean, to be really blunt — make it more difficult to get these horrifying weapons that have no practical use in our community.” —— Australian leaders promised Monday to immediately overhaul already-tough gun control laws after a mass shooting targeted a Hanukkah celebration on Sydney’s Bondi Beach. At least 15 people died in the attack, which has fueled criticism that authorities are not doing enough to combat a surge in antisemitic crimes. Among the new measures proposed would be a limit on the number of guns someone can own and a review of licenses held over time.

Those and other actions would represent a significant update to the landmark national firearms agreement, which virtually banned rapid-fire rifles after a gunman killed 35 people in Tasmania in 1996, galvanizing the country into action. “The government is prepared to take whatever action is necessary. Included in that is the need for tougher gun laws,” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said. —— "It should be even harder for law-abiding people to get guns" is always the answer. Clearly the terrorists aren't concerned about obeying gun laws. How does a 24-year old Muslim male who is known to the government for being affiliated with ISIS get to possess not one, but SIX firearms, in a country where guns are essentially banned? They won't be asking themselves that question.

Australia already made gun ownership virtually impossible, so now instead of addressing the root causes of this shooting -- Islamic radicalization and immigration -- the "action" being taken is further restricting the rights of people who had nothing to do with the shooting. The renewed calls for more gun control are of course also coming from U.S. Democrats like Ilhan Omar: Ilhan Omar calls for gun control after the tragic shooting in Australia. Australia already has some of the world’s most restrictive gun laws. Those laws didn’t prevent today’s shooting. They just left the (unarmed) victims completely defenseless. This couldn’t be more tone deaf. —— I can't help but notice that Omar isn't calling for more fraud control in Minneapolis. She'd rather take your guns. It is not a coincidence that those who hate our way of life the most want gun control the most. The terrorists who were murdering people in Australia certainly might have appreciated the fact that no citizen in the area had the ability to return fire and end the threat faster.
