Australia already made gun ownership virtually impossible, so now instead of addressing the root causes of this shooting -- Islamic radicalization and immigration -- the "action" being taken is further restricting the rights of people who had nothing to do with the shooting. Australia already has some of the world’s most restrictive gun laws. Those laws didn’t prevent today’s shooting. They just left the (unarmed) victims completely defenseless. This couldn’t be more tone deaf. —— I can't help but notice that Omar isn't calling for more fraud control in Minneapolis. She'd rather take your guns. It is not a coincidence that those who hate our way of life the most want gun control the most. The terrorists who were murdering people in Australia certainly might have appreciated the fact that no citizen in the area had the ability to return fire and end the threat faster.
