Outbreak Zero’s core gameplay mechanics are actually solid. Movement feels responsive, combat works well, and the overall flow is smooth — however, the game is far too easy, removing any sense of tension or survival pressure.

The biggest issue lies in the cinematic scenes, which are among the weakest aspects of the experience. Animations feel misplaced, camera work is awkward, character movements look unnatural, and many scenes unintentionally come across as awkward or even humorous rather than frightening.
