Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit. In today’s video I’m reacting to Asmongold’s coverage titled “This is horrible…”, about the devastating mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Hundreds of people had gathered for a joyful festival when gunmen opened fire, leaving many dead and dozens injured in what authorities described as a terrorist attack targeting the Jewish community.

This isn’t a political point, it’s a tragedy that affects real people, families, and communities. Here’s my take — with respect, grief, and clarity:

Condemning the violence: This shooting — which killed at least 15–16 people, including children and community leaders — was a horrific act of targeted violence against innocent civilians celebrating Hanukkah. That kind of hate and terrorism has no place in our world.

Not about guns vs politics alone: While people will argue about policy after the fact, right now it’s important to honor the victims, their families, and the Jewish community in Australia and around the world. This was an attack on people for who they are and what they were celebrating, and that deserves our complete condemnation.

Importance of community & support: Attacks like this can shake entire communities. But responding with compassion, unity, and a commitment to reject prejudice and terror is how societies heal. Leaders from around the globe, including King Charles III and Queen Mary of Denmark, have expressed solidarity with victims and their families.

Focus on humanity first: Politics, ideology, or blame games can wait — the first step is recognizing the human cost of hate and violence. Funerals are happening, families are grieving, and communities are trying to rebuild trust and safety. That’s what deserves attention.
