Syntholene Joins TSXV Targets First Commercial Fuel Output Before 2030

A new contender is stepping into the energy security race—and it’s doing it with industrial execution, not buzzwords. Syntholene Energy (TSXV: ESAF) CEO Dan Sutton joins Kitco Mining to explain how the newly listed company plans to produce synthetic jet fuel using geothermal heat and high-temperature electrolysis, a pathway he says delivers a major cost advantage and a real-world route to scale.

Sutton says Syntholene’s strategy is built by a team with deep experience across mining, uranium, and large-scale infrastructure, the kind of background required to finance and build serious projects. “We build real things,” he says, adding that investors should see tangible progress over the next 6, 12, and 18 months as the company moves from prototype to deployment.

After successful prototype work at Idaho National Laboratory, Syntholene expects to deploy its first geothermal-to-electrolysis demonstration system by the end of next year, with an Iceland deployment in the pipeline. Sutton says commercial production before 2030 is achievable through strategic customers and mining-style project financing, and he emphasizes that synthetic fuels can meet the purity and performance standards required for both civilian and military turbines—a key alignment with national security priorities.
