Patty Murray objects to bill that would prohibit infanticide

Washington Sen. Patty Murray, a far-left Democrat also against school discipline, objected to a unanimous consent on the measure on the false basis that infanticide is already illegal.

"We have laws against infanticide in this country. This is a gross misinterpretation of the actual language of the bill that is being asked to be considered and therefore, I object," she said Monday on the Senate floor as the unanimous consent "vote" was held.
