There are better ways to raise money. This was not one of them. Donkeys, norcs, and a room full of bad ideas collide on Friday Happy Hour.

Along the way, the conversation wanders through fundraising schemes, norcs, cosmetic fixes, and the strange confidence that comes from group agreement. Plastic surgery becomes a business model. Accountability becomes optional. Every idea sounds better than the last, if only because nobody is sober enough to object.

What follows is a slow unraveling of good intentions. The talk shifts from responsibility to momentum, from “this makes sense” to “we’re already here,” with each decision stacking on the previous one. Confidence replaces planning. Commitment replaces judgment.
