Ep. 6 PROPAGANDA

GOTH-POP PHILOSOPHY ON PROPAGANDA:
The idea that everyone is biased is bullshit. That should not be an excuse. Even if it’s true, we can work to be better. I don’t think it’s true, and here is why:

Traffic.
Weather.
Stock market.

Reporting on these is unbiased (GENERALLY).
There’s a lot of propaganda around weather, but that’s a story for a different day. Let me know in the comments, if you want me to call out Al Gore and the climate change alarmists.

DEFINITION: “information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a particular cause, doctrine, or point of view.”

By this description, we are all propagandists.

ON THE SURFACE:
It looks like it’s just about all of us, but I look at committing the crime of propaganda as something we can all improve. Because we’re messing with people‘s minds and mentally. Enough of this bullshit can drive a person insane.
