The Cholesterol Grift

MANY of my patients complain to me that their MDs pressure them to take cholesterol meds even when their numbers are only slightly out of range. Since high cholesterol is NOT a disease, I encourage them to talk to the MD and discuss the rest of their cardiovascular picture.
