Want that valve amp cooking?
Want to see the rosy glow of melting EL34s?

Unless you have sound insulated room or live miles from anyone then you will probably have investigated attenuators. They used to be resistive soaks with a fixed impedance suiting your cabinet but these days there are a load more options from reactive loads like the Tone King Ironman or loads that allow you to record silently but some of the most useful are the re-ampers.

The modern ones really replicate the speaker response of a real speaker and sound way better than the old resistive loads.

These attenuate but also re-amplify the attenuated sound to make the sound pressure more reasonable or even higher if desired, allowing a 5 Watt Fender Champ to fill a stage with volume or allow a 100 Watt Marshall to run flat out in a bedroom.

Models like the Fryette Power Station or this, the Two-Notes Torpedo Reload II allow attenuation but also have FX loops and allow an interface to a recording console. Very handy!

The one I bought also has a Mojo switch which really helps to make a relatively quiet output sound immense!

Here is my own demo. There are many demos out there which go through all the features but I thought I would demo mine - which I bought with my own money and is not sponsored and include some IR cabinets and speaker combinations which are included with the free Genome software that Two-Notes include with the hardware.

Hope it is helpful in some way and thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe!
